TETRAO Pellet Feed for Hoofed Game – Antler Growth

The TETRAO Pellet Feed is a supplementary pelleted feed designed for roe deer, red deer, fallow deer, and mouflon. It has been developed for the antler and horn growth period, helping provide essential nutrients required for healthy trophy development, improved condition, greater resilience, and overall game vitality.

The formula was developed based on the practical experience of wildlife nutrition experts and tested by the Department of Applied Zoology and Wildlife Management and the University Forest Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen. The pellets also support the proper function and stabilization of rumen microflora, contributing to more efficient nutrient utilization.

During antler and horn development, hoofed game has significantly increased mineral requirements. The pellets contain a balanced combination of macro minerals, trace elements, and vitamins that support antler mineralization, healthy skeletal development, and the condition of females during pregnancy and offspring development. The manufacturer recommends starting supplementary feeding as early as autumn.

The formula contains calcium, phosphorus, sodium, and magnesium as its primary macro minerals. The trace elements include copper, manganese, zinc, selenium, iodine, and cobalt. It also contains vitamins A and D3, which support proper metabolism and the efficient utilization of minerals.

The feed is based on a blend of corn, wheat bran, barley, sunflower extraction meal, rapeseed extraction meal, malt sprouts, soybean extraction meal, calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, wheat feed flour, magnesium oxide, and monocalcium phosphate. The 4 mm pellets are also suitable for automatic feeders and allow easy handling and dosing.

The recommended daily intake for red deer is 0.5–1 kg per animal during winter and 0.5–1.5 kg per animal per day from April onwards (in game reserves and deer farms).

The product is manufactured in Slovakia by a company with more than 30 years of experience and is supplied in a practical 25 kg package.
