FAB Defense PDC Aluminum Dust Cover for AK/AKM – Black
FAB Defense PDC is a modern aluminum receiver dust cover for AK / AKM / AK-74 platforms, bringing the classic Kalashnikov up to the standards of modern tactical firearms. It replaces the original dust cover and adds an integrated Picatinny rail for secure mounting of a red dot sight, riflescope, or other optics without the need for side mounts.
Once properly installed and zeroed, it provides a stable optics platform and helps maintain zero even during repeated firing. Thanks to the unique tightening system, play typical for standard AK dust covers is significantly reduced, greatly improving overall mounting stability.
The construction from aircraft-grade 6061 T6 aluminum combined with steel components delivers high strength, durability, and long service life even under heavy use. The low-profile design also allows easier weapon handling while retaining the use of original iron sights.
This dust cover is an ideal solution for sport shooting, tactical upgrades, and modernization of both service and civilian AK platforms. Installation is quick and does not require a gunsmith or permanent modifications to the firearm.
