Nordik Boar lure for black game, Nordik Predator

NORDIK BOAR DECOY FOR BLACK GAME by NORDIK PREDATOR

The Nordik Boar decoy from the Swedish company Nordik Predator is a specialised tool designed for attracting black game, especially wild boar. It has been developed in cooperation with professional hunters to imitate as closely as possible the various sounds that wild boars make in different situations - for example, the bellowing voice of a whimpering boar, the wailing of piglets or warning sounds expressing unease in a group.

The decoy is made of durable plastic that can withstand even harsh climatic conditions, and is very easy to use. Using the sliding ring, the pitch can be easily changed so that a wide range of sounds can be imitated. Thanks to its compact size, it fits comfortably in a pocket or backpack and even a beginner can use it without much practice.

The most effective use of the Nordik Boar is during the rutting season, when it is possible to attract males or females responding to the vocal expressions of other individuals. However, the lure will also find its application during normal hunting or game photography. When decoying, it is advisable to remain completely still and use the wind to your advantage, as blackbucks have an excellent sense of smell and hearing. It is ideal to use a short series of sounds and then wait, as wild boars often react with a time lag.
