Neutron 2.0 Hybrid Jacket by Pentagon

The Neutron 2.0 Hybrid Jacket by Pentagon is a technically advanced jacket designed for cold-weather use, where thermal comfort, durability, and maximum freedom of movement are essential. It can be worn as a standalone jacket or as an insulation layer within the MJC® modular system.

The torso section features a baffle construction filled with 120 g/m² Primaloft® Hi-Loft Ultra insulation, which efficiently retains body heat around the core. The sleeves and shoulders are designed without baffles, reducing bulk and improving mobility during active use as well as when layering beneath an outer shell.

For increased durability, the shoulders and sleeves are made from NYCO Canvas fabric, consisting of 75% cotton and 25% nylon. This material provides enhanced abrasion resistance in areas most exposed to backpack straps, load-bearing equipment, and repetitive movement.

The outer layer is made from 100% high-density nylon, offering reliable wind resistance and enhanced protection against moisture. The jacket is water-resistant. A 400T nylon lining contributes to improved thermal comfort and long-lasting durability.

The Neutron 2.0 is fully compatible with the MJC® system, allowing it to function as an insulation liner inside compatible Pentagon jackets, such as the GEN V3 and Hurricane series. This solution enables easy adaptation of equipment to changing weather conditions.

A practical feature is the insulated hood concealed inside the collar, which can be easily deployed when needed. The hood is detachable and features a three-point adjustment system. The high collar also provides effective protection against wind and cold.

Comfort is enhanced by the ergonomically contoured back design, adjustable waist, and cuffs with hidden elastic adjusters that automatically adapt to the wrist. Dual main zippers with protective storm flaps help prevent wind and moisture from penetrating the jacket.

Practical features also include two internal pockets for documents and accessories, as well as a hook-and-loop panel on the sleeve for identification patches or insignia.
