MRE, ARPOL WSH

A military food ration, an MRE , also referred to as a combat food ration (BDP). There are various names for this type of product – a package of long-lasting foods that are easy to prepare.

This ration is produced by the Polish company ARPOL, which supplies it, among others, to the Polish army. Compared to the Czech BDP, the ARPOL WSH MRE clearly offers a better taste of the main dishes, which are not as salty.

Just like the American MRE, this military ration includes a flameless heater. When compared with the U.S. Meal Ready to Eat, the main advantage of the ARPOL WSH ration is the strict quality and health-safety control. The rations are fresh, with a sufficiently long shelf life, while American MREs often come with an unknown expiration date.

Special hardtack: wheat flour, rye flour, invert sugar, non-hydrogenated fat, salt, glucose syrup, sugar, caraway, yeast; may contain milk, eggs, soy, peanuts.
