The Lowa Mauria Evo GTX Ls hiking boots feature advanced technological solutions for demanding outdoor activities. The upper is made of durable, water-repellent nubuck leather, which is seamless at the toe, minimizing the risk of pressure points and increasing the durability of areas subject to mechanical stress. A protective rubber rand reliably shields the toe and heel from damage caused by sharp rocks or roots. Reliable waterproofing and high breathability are ensured by the proven Gore-Tex membrane lining, which maintains an optimal microclimate inside the shoe even during all-day hikes in rain or mud.
The model features a comprehensive system of patented technologies focused on support and comfort. The two-zone lacing system with a separating hook and rollers allows for independent tightening of the lower and upper parts of the shoe, while the X-lacing system prevents horizontal and vertical slippage of the asymmetrical tongue. This anatomically shaped tongue with elastic padding, combined with Flex Fit technology, supports natural ankle flexion without unwanted pressure. The innovative Vibram Apptrail II outsole, combined with a torsion stabilizer, provides excellent traction on varied terrain and the necessary support when walking with a heavy backpack. The shoe features a glued construction, allowing for complete outsole replacement once it wears out.
