M311 SPELTER Knife, Kydex, AVN Knives
The M311 Spelter is an extremely rugged and highly reliable fixed-blade knife from Czech knife specialist ANV, developed in collaboration with members of elite airborne units. The knife features a fixed blade made from top-quality Swedish Elmax steel, which is considered one of the best steels in the world. The blade itself features a smooth edge, a length of 120 mm, and an extremely durable DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) coating, which minimizes blade glare, prevents corrosion, and gives the steel surface excellent gliding properties.
The ANV M311 Spelter knife features a robust full-tang construction made of Elmax steel, which runs through the entire knife to the pommel. The heel of the handle itself is equipped with a glass-breaking spike. The entire knife construction is held firmly together by a combination of solid, threaded bushings and four M5 screws, which, like the knife blade, feature a DLC coating. The handle itself is manufactured via 3D machining from a solid piece of Micarta. The handle of the M311 Spelter knife fits perfectly in the hand and, thanks to its grooves, offers a perfect grip in any situation. The knife is also equipped with a safety paracord wrist strap designed to prevent the knife from slipping out of your hand while chopping.
The knife comes with a self-locking Kydex sheath, which is complemented by a pair of MOLLE clips that allow for easy and effective attachment of the set to a belt or any piece of tactical gear. This ensures comfortable, reliable, and safe carrying of the knife, so you can always have the M311 Spelter at your fingertips. The sheath also comes with a special lanyard for comfortable carrying on a belt. A wide drainage hole allows for easy and quick maintenance of the sheath.
Collaboration with elite units, members of forward air controllers, and Close Protection teams allowed the developers of this knife to verify the true quality of the selected materials, design, and overall craftsmanship of the M311 Spelter. The knife was also extensively tested in extreme environments and various climatic conditions, ranging from the hot, dry, or humid regions of Asia to the freezing areas beyond the Arctic Circle.
All these features make the ANV M311 Spelter a reliable, robust, and high-performance companion capable of handling anything that comes its way.
