The Lightweight Poncho from Helikon is a modern, lightweight version of the classic US Poncho with a tradition dating back almost 60 years. It offers full protection against rain and wind, while being extremely lightweight and packable thanks to the use of tear-resistant rip-stop polyester. The design has been simplified to retain only the most important elements – metal eyelets have been replaced with sturdy fabric loops, reducing both weight and dimensions when packed. The poncho has snaps to create sleeves that prevent wind from blowing through, and an adjustable hood with a practical drawstring for better protection and comfort. After use, it can be easily packed into the included transport bag. Thanks to reinforced mounting points, the poncho can also be converted into an emergency shelter or rain tarp – an ideal choice for hikers, bushcrafters, and soldiers.
