The lightstick is also known as chemical light and is used as a mar ker in a variety of activities. Chemical lights are often used by the military, police, firefighters and divers. Activation of chemical light is very simple. Simply bend it and shake it. The inner ampoule breaks and the two chemicals mixes, reacting to make the lightstick glow. The stick is for single use only.
