oWB KYDEX HOLSTERS by RB Holsters
Otherwise known as Outside The Waistband (OWB) holsters are made in a very minimalistic way, making it possible to wear the holsters under a shirt in a way that it remains concealed and ready at all times. The OWB holsters are designed for shooting ranges, training courses and for all-day concealed weapon carry.
As each holster is made to fit a particular type of pistol, the weapon fits firmly in the holster and remains tightly and precisely in place during any physical activity such as moving and running around. Importantly, the pistol remains extremely easy to pull out of the holster when needed.
The OWB holsters are designed to be carried from the outside of the trousers, attached to a belt or to the trousers themselves - depending on the attachment system you choose. Very important factors are the easy of accessibility, reliable grip of the holster and the minimal dimensions of the holster thanks to which the size and weight of the carried pistol is not increased all too much.
SWEATGUARD
Sweatguard helps you guide your weapon into the holster more easily and it also effectively protects the pistol against sweat as well as clothes slipping into the holster when storing your weapon. Outside the Waistband holsters are offered with different lengths of sweatguards - Full Sweatguard, Half Sweatguard or No Sweatguard at all. It is up to you to choose whichever sweatguard suits your needs and demands the best!
Half Sweatguard is a great choice when choosing an OWB holster as it effectively separates the weapon from the body and clothing. At the very same time, OWB holsters with a half sweatguard do not interfere with your body when you are moving around the shooting range and there is no pistol stored in the holster.
- No sweatguard - the inside of the holster as high as the outside
- Half sweatguard - the inside of the holster raised to about half the overhang of the breech of the weapon above the outside of the holster
- Full sweatguard - the inside of the sweatguard follows the projection of the slide of the weapon above the outside of the holster
