HIKMICRO T16 WILDLIFE CAMERA

The HIKMICRO T16 is designed for hunters and anyone who wants to stay informed about what’s happening in their hunting grounds without having to visit the camera regularly. It combines fast motion detection, high-quality images, 4G connectivity, and convenient control via a mobile app. This allows you to monitor wildlife activity, adjust settings, or view captured footage directly on your phone.

One of its main advantages is the selectable field of view of 60° or 100°. The narrower angle is suitable, for example, for forest trails, wildlife crossings, or a specific monitored location, while you’ll appreciate the wider view in meadows, near feeding stations, and other open areas. Settings can be changed directly in the app without having to handle the camera trap.

A PIR sensor with a range of up to 25 meters and a trigger speed of just 0.4 seconds detects motion. The T16 captures photos at a native resolution of 6 MP, with images available in up to 24 MP UHD resolution upon request. Full HD video at 1080p resolution with audio recording is also available.

For nighttime observation, the camera trap uses 940 nm SmartIR infrared illumination, which helps produce high-quality black-and-white images without unnecessarily disturbing wildlife. It captures color images during the day and automatically switches to night mode when lighting conditions deteriorate.

4G connectivity and the HIKMICRO Sight app allow for convenient remote management of the trail camera. The app is available for both Android and iOS and offers Czech and Slovak language support. In addition to configuring settings, it lets you check the device’s status, view and share photos and videos, monitor your data plan, and use GPS location tracking. During installation, the live preview via Wi-Fi—with a range of up to 15 meters—comes in handy, allowing you to easily position the camera trap correctly.

A major advantage is the built-in 64GB memory, so there’s no need to purchase a memory card. If necessary, recordings can be transferred to a computer via USB Type-C. Power is supplied by four rechargeable 18650 Li-ion batteries. For long-term installation, the camera trap can also be powered by an external 12 V power source.

The rugged design with an IP66 rating is ready for year-round outdoor use. The camera trap can operate at temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +55 °C, so you can use it in a variety of weather conditions. It can be mounted using the included strap or a tripod with a 1/4"-20-UNC thread. 

The camera trap is equipped with an integrated HIKMICRO SIM card. No subscription is required for the SIM card connection itself; however, there is a charge for downloading captured photos and videos via the app.
