FOMEI 8x42 BEATER II Binoculars
The FOMEI 8x42 BEATER II binoculars feature a modern roof prism construction, ensuring compact dimensions and easy handling during everyday use. The rubber armoring combined with a durable polycarbonate body provides a secure grip and high resistance to shocks and wear.
With 8x magnification and a 42 mm objective lens diameter, they offer an ideal balance between brightness, performance, and image stability. A key advantage is the wide field of view of 142 m at 1000 m, which allows very comfortable observation, easy tracking of moving objects, and better orientation in the field. The minimum focusing distance of 2 m also enables use at closer ranges.
The optical system consists of BaK4 prisms and lenses with FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflective treatment, which increases light transmission and ensures a bright, high-contrast image. A relative brightness of 27.6 and an exit pupil of 5.25 mm contribute to good visibility even in low-light conditions.
The binoculars are waterproof and dustproof and are filled with dry nitrogen, which prevents internal fogging during sudden temperature changes. This makes them suitable for more demanding environments. Twist-up eyecups ensure comfortable viewing even for eyeglass wearers.
The interpupillary distance range of 56–74 mm allows easy adjustment for different users. A practical feature is also the tripod mount thread, which expands usability during extended observation.
The package includes a protective case, neck strap, objective and eyepiece covers, and a cleaning cloth, so the binoculars are ready for immediate use and safe transport.
