At the heart of the flashlight is a virtually indestructible LED, optimized for maximum performance and long-lasting operation. Combined with a smooth parabolic reflector, it produces an extremely concentrated beam of light with an impressive range of up to 632 metres, making it ideal for use in outdoor areas, search and rescue or tactical operations. At the same time, it also provides ample peripheral light for enhanced situational awareness.

One of the main benefits of the EDC2-DFT-BK is the Dual Fuel system, which allows it to be powered by either a rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery (included) or two commercially available CR123A lithium batteries. This gives the user complete flexibility to choose the power source according to need and availability. The battery can be conveniently charged via the micro USB port, eliminating the need for an external charger.

Thanks to the IPX7 rating, the flashlight is waterproof and can withstand immersion to a depth of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. With a length of 150 mm and a weight of 158.8 g (with battery), it is a very compact and portable flashlight that can easily be stored in a pocket, backpack or EDC gear.
