TETRAO Feed Lime
TETRAO Feed Lime is a finely ground calcium carbonate (limestone) used as a supplementary source of calcium for hoofed game and other livestock. It is intended to supplement feed rations whenever the natural diet does not provide sufficient amounts of this essential mineral.
Calcium is one of the most important minerals for the healthy growth and development of animals. It contributes to bone formation and mineralization, supports the growth of high-quality antlers, promotes the proper development of young animals, and plays an important role during pregnancy and lactation. The manufacturer recommends increasing calcium supplementation, particularly during the antler growth period and the breeding season.
TETRAO Feed Lime also supports the proper function of the digestive system, helping animals utilize nutrients from feed more efficiently. Regular calcium supplementation contributes to better health, improved physical condition, enhanced reproduction, and higher-quality trophies.
The supplement is suitable for year-round use. It can be easily mixed into feed, feed mixtures, or hay. Its finely ground consistency ensures even distribution throughout the feed ration and simplifies preparation.
The composition contains at least 95% calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate (CaCO₃ + MgCO₃), with a magnesium carbonate content of no more than 5%. The declared calcium content is at least 36%.
