The Falcon FQ35 2.0 uses a VOx uncooled focal plane image sensor that offers a maximum resolution of 640x512 pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 μm. The frame rate is 50 Hz, ensuring smooth imaging of moving objects. The temperature sensitivity (NETD) is less than 15 mK, which means that the device can distinguish even the smallest temperature differences, even in challenging conditions.
The instrument features a 35 mm fixed F1.0 lens, which provides excellent detection performance and clear images even in very low temperature contrast. With a detection range of up to 1800 meters, this monocular is capable of identifying distant objects such as people or animals.
The monocular offers a field of view of 12.5° × 10.0° (equivalent to 21.9 m × 17.5 m at 100 m), which provides a sufficiently wide view of the area to be observed. The minimum focusing distance is 3.5 metres, allowing close observation of nearby objects. Manual focusing via the rear wheel gives the user full control over image sharpness.
The Falcon FQ35 2.0 features a high quality OLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a size of 0.49 inches. The display provides a crisp and high contrast image that is easy to read in a variety of lighting conditions.
The Falcon FQ35 2.0 uses the advanced HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System (HSIS), which ensures fast and smooth image capture without interruptions caused by shutter calibration. This is particularly useful when tracking fast moving targets or during long term observation.
The device is designed to withstand harsh conditions. IP67 protection means that the monocular is fully protected against dust and can be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes.
The Falcon FQ35 2.0 offers a wide range of features that enhance its utility value. The built-in 64GB memory allows you to store images and videos, including audio recording, directly on the device. Data can be easily transferred thanks to WiFi support in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. PIP (Picture-in-Picture) is a feature that allows you to simultaneously view the overall image and a detailed cutout in a separate window. Hot Track allows you to highlight the hottest spot in the image, making it easier to detect targets.
The device uses a replaceable and rechargeable Type 21700 battery, which provides an operating time of up to 6.5 hours. Charging is via a USB-C port that supports external power and direct charging.
