Dual Tactical Helmet Light SUREFIRE TNVC HELMET LIGHT

The SureFire TNVC Helmet Light is a highly specialized tactical helmet-mounted light developed through the collaboration of two industry leaders – SureFire and TNVC (Tactical Night Vision Company). The result is a compact, extremely durable, and highly functional light designed primarily for military, law enforcement, and professional use in combination with night vision devices (NVG).

The light combines a powerful white LED with a maximum output of 250 lumens and an infrared (IR) illuminator with an output of 100 mW, allowing instant switching between visible and invisible spectra without the need for filters or component changes.

Well-engineered design and premium mounting solution

The flashlight body is equipped with the Multi-Axis Mount™ (M-Ax Mount™) mounting system by S&S Precision, compatible with Ops-Core helmets. This system provides a wide range of motion and precise beam alignment, raising the light above the helmet rail while keeping a low profile so it does not interfere with other tactical gear.

Thanks to this design, the TNVC Helmet Light is ideal for long-term wear and dynamic operations where ergonomics and rapid handling are critical.

Dual-output light optimized for NVG use

The light utilizes separate LEDs for white and infrared modes. The IR illuminator is fully integrated and does not require an external IR filter, which is one of the key advantages of this model. The IR mode is optimized for use with night vision devices, enabling effective operation in environments with no ambient light where NVGs alone are insufficient.

In such scenarios – for example during operations in enclosed structures – the ability to use an IR illuminator on a helmet, handheld flashlight, or weapon-mounted light becomes a critical tactical advantage.

Intuitive operation and maximum safety

Switching between white / off / IR modes is done by simply rotating the light head, allowing fast and reliable operation even while wearing gloves or under stress. A major advantage is that the light always activates in low-output mode, minimizing the risk of accidental self-blinding or position disclosure.

The design also includes a lockout mechanism that protects against accidental activation during transport and prevents unintended battery drain.

The KM1-T light head, specially developed by SureFire for TNVC, features two output levels – low and high – for both white and IR modes.

Output and runtime

The TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optic provides a balanced beam with sufficient throw and effective peripheral illumination.

White LED:

• low mode: 5 lm, runtime up to 6 hours

IR illuminator:

• high mode: 100 mW, runtime approx. 20.5 hours

Power is supplied by 1× CR123A battery, a standard power source used in professional tactical equipment.
