The Dragon Egg Mk II by Direct Action is a versatile tactical backpack that combines durability, ergonomics, and thoughtful organization. It was developed for professionals from the military and rescue services but also performs perfectly in everyday civilian use.

Thanks to its distinctive egg-shaped design, the backpack is shorter and narrower than standard models of the same capacity, allowing it to integrate better with other tactical gear without restricting movement or access to a duty belt. It features three main compartments – a primary compartment with a hydration bladder pocket and mesh divider, a rear padded compartment for a 15″ laptop or radio, and a front organizer pocket for small essentials and documents. Two elastic side pockets hold a 1 L bottle or canteen, while the top fleece-lined pocket is ideal for eyewear or electronics.

The backpack is equipped with a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS system and a front daisy-chain webbing for attaching carabiners, gloves, or a tourniquet. The paracord handle is made of two 2.5 m cords that can be used in an emergency. It also includes quick-release shoulder straps, a detachable waist belt, and a padded back panel with the Combat Vent System – ventilation channels and mesh that actively wick away moisture and improve comfort during prolonged wear.

The Dragon Egg Mk II is made of durable Cordura® 500D with a water-repellent coating and is available in camouflage variants with NIR treatment to reduce infrared visibility. Its excellent balance of weight, capacity, and functionality makes it one of the most versatile tactical backpacks in its class.
