Description
Darien Mosquito Head Net by Pentagon
The Darien Mosquito Head Net is a lightweight protective net against mosquitoes and other nuisance insects, designed for hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, travelling, and tactical use. It is suitable for both movement and stationary outdoor activities, including use in hot and humid environments.
The mosquito net is designed to be worn over a cap or boonie hat. The central opening at the top allows the net to work with the headwear, which keeps the mesh away from the eyes and face. This improves visibility, reduces contact between the mesh and skin, and enhances stability and comfort during extended use.
The open-top design promotes airflow and heat dissipation while reducing moisture build-up around the head and neck. This construction prioritises ventilation over fully enclosing the head.
The mesh contains 5% elastane, allowing it to adapt to different types of headwear, remain more stable during movement and in windy conditions, and help reduce the risk of tearing. The lightweight and compact 50 × 50 cm construction easily fits into a pocket, backpack, chest rig, or vehicle kit.
For optimal performance, use with a cap or boonie hat is recommended. The mosquito net is not chemically treated with insect repellent, is sold separately, and the headwear shown in the product images is not included.
