Crossbow Scope Xero® X1i, Garmin

The Garmin Xero® X1i crossbow scope is a purpose-built, rugged, and feature-rich aiming system designed to give bowhunters and crossbow shooters a decisive edge in the field. Engineered around an integrated Class 1 laser rangefinder and advanced onboard ballistics logic, the X1i brings precise ranging, adaptive aiming cues and smart features straight into the shooter’s eye—enabling fast, confident shots in changing light and terrain.

Physically compact yet durable, the X1i measures 158 × 66 × 95 mm and weighs approximately 862 g (1.9 lb). It is rated IPX7 for water resistance and performs reliably across a wide operational temperature range from −20 °C to 60 °C. The optical system provides 3.5× magnification and a 5° field of view, striking a balance between target identification and situational awareness. The device’s display has a 32 mm (1.2") diagonal and projects crisp aiming points that can be sensor-controlled or manually adjusted for brightness to remain visible in dawn, dusk and bright daylight conditions.

At the heart of the X1i is the integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring target distances up to 250 m for highly reflective targets and significantly useful distances for game and darker targets; ballistic guidance is provided with approximately 1/2 MOA aiming precision. The unit handles arrow speeds up to 650 ft/s, and AutoCal (automatic calibration) simplifies setup for different arrows and crossbow configurations.

Practical hunting features include angle-compensated range (accounts for incline/decline), Laser Locate™ (marks the shot location for subsequent mapping when paired with compatible Garmin GPS units), shot counters, an electronic level, and a suite of shot analytics. Users can create and store multiple arrow profiles—each with tailored aiming points—so switching between setups is quick and accurate. The X1i also includes “stable aim” and aiming level indicators to help maintain steady sight picture prior to the shot.

Two remote-rangefinder switches provide quiet, ergonomic activation options so you can range with minimal movement. The reticle shape and intensity are adjustable, and the scope offers selectable colored aiming points for high visibility and contrast. For connectivity, the device interfaces via microUSB and integrates with Garmin GPS units for location features and advanced workflows.

Powered by two included AAA lithium batteries, the X1i delivers exceptional battery life—up to one year under normal usage—which means less worry about field battery changes. Built to withstand real hunting conditions, it is a full-featured crossbow sight that brings digital rangefinding, smart aiming and mapping integration to hunters seeking a modern, reliable solution.
