The Chinook Jacket by Helikon is a lightweight membrane jacket designed for outdoor activities, use at the shooting range, duty applications, and everyday wear in rainy conditions. It is intended for users looking for simple yet highly effective rain protection without unnecessary weight.

The jacket is built around a 2.5-layer laminate that combines an outer fabric with a membrane containing micropores. These prevent water penetration while allowing moisture generated by the body to escape. A protective inner print replaces the lining, keeping the jacket lightweight and easy to pack.

The jacket features a 20,000 mm waterproof rating and is equipped with taped seams and covered zippers for maximum protection against rain. The membrane offers breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24 h, while additional climate regulation is provided by underarm ventilation zippers and adjustable cuffs.

The Chinook Jacket is equipped with four pockets – two hand pockets and two shoulder pockets with hook-and-loop panels for identification. An adjustable hood and waist adjustment allow for a tailored fit. The jacket is treated with a PFC-free DWR C0 finish and comes with a transport pouch. When packed, it takes up minimal space in a backpack.
