Why use this ceramic grease? Many shooters never remove the compensator and often overlook the barrel thread or crown… until it comes time for thorough cleaning.

When attempting to unscrew the compensator, it is often completely seized. In extreme cases, only heating with a torch will help.

To prevent thread and barrel crown damage, after each shooting session, simply unscrew the compensator, clean the thread and barrel crown with a solvent (a brass brush is recommended), and then apply this ceramic grease. This simple step ensures easy reassembly and hassle-free shooting next time.

The same procedure works perfectly for chokes on shotguns – applying ceramic grease before shooting makes disassembly much easier. It is also ideal for nipples on black powder firearms.
