The LOWA Camino Evo GTX boots are top-of-the-line men’s hiking boots that represent a major leap forward in comfort. The upper is made of premium, water-repellent nubuck leather that is 2.6 mm thick and is protected all around by a high, split rubber collar that prevents the leather from being damaged by sharp rocks or branches. The proven GORE-TEX Footwear membrane lining ensures reliable protection against moisture and optimal moisture wicking. Exceptional comfort while walking is provided by an advanced combination of the Flex Fit 3D last and the patented Freeflex lacing system, which allows for natural and ergonomic ankle movement without uncomfortable pressure.
The outsole features the top-of-the-line VIBRAM APPTRAIL II rubber tread with moderate stiffness, complemented by a cushioning PU midsole with two zones of varying density. Softer segments in the heel and forefoot areas effectively absorb impact, while the integrated SPS stabilizer keeps the foot in an anatomically correct position and prevents fatigue. Precise foot support is ensured by the two-zone lacing system for smooth and easy tightening. It is complemented by a release hook and X-lacing technology, which reliably holds the asymmetrical C4 tongue precisely in the center and prevents it from shifting upward or sideways. The boots are made using a classic glued construction, which allows for a complete sole replacement at a professional service center in case of wear.
