BoreTech SHIELD XP Rust Preventative, 118 ml

SHIELD XP Rust Preventative by BoreTech

SHIELD XP Rust Preventative by BoreTech is a specialized protective treatment developed for long-term protection of firearms against rust and corrosion. Its advanced formula provides effective protection for metal components even when exposed to high humidity, harsh weather conditions, or corrosive environments. It is ideal not only for regular maintenance but also for long-term firearm storage.

One of the main advantages of this product is its special non-greasy formula that does not leave behind a traditional oily film. SHIELD XP penetrates deep into the microscopic pores of metal surfaces, where it displaces moisture and neutralizes corrosive residues. It then forms a thin, semi-dry, invisible protective barrier that shields the metal from environmental exposure and helps prevent corrosion.

According to the manufacturer, SHIELD XP provides more than five times the rust and corrosion protection of competing products. In ASTM testing, it exceeds 500 hours in humidity testing and 100 hours in salt spray testing.

Unlike conventional oil-based rust preventatives, the protective film does not attract dust, sand, or other contaminants, does not become sticky, and does not leave unwanted deposits. The product is safe for use on all metals and does not affect shooting accuracy.

The convenient 118 ml bottle features a pump spray applicator that allows even application directly onto metal surfaces or onto a cleaning cloth. The product has a light, pleasant coconut scent and comes in a durable bottle made from treated HDPE plastic.

SHIELD XP Rust Preventative is made in the USA and provides an effective solution for protecting metal firearm components against corrosion without the need for traditional greasy rust preventatives.
