EXTREME GREASE HD by BoreTech is a highly tacky synthetic lubricating grease specifically developed for demanding firearm operating conditions. It is primarily designed for mechanically stressed components where conventional lubricants lose their effectiveness due to heavy loads, rapid movement, or extreme temperatures.

Its advanced formula features a three-component synthetic blend containing extreme-pressure additives, enhanced corrosion inhibitors, and nano-ceramic lubricating particles. This combination significantly reduces friction, minimizes wear, and helps prevent galling of metal components. The grease penetrates the surface structure of both metallic and polymer materials, providing long-lasting lubrication with an exceptionally low coefficient of friction, which, according to the manufacturer, is lower than that of molybdenum disulfide, fluoropolymer, lithium, or graphite-based greases.

A key advantage is its extremely tacky consistency, which prevents the lubricant from running or forming gummy deposits. The grease stays securely in place even during intensive mechanical movement and maintains its lubricating properties under heavy mechanical loads.

EXTREME GREASE HD offers an operating temperature range from −65 °C to +371 °C (−85 °F to +700 °F). According to the manufacturer, its specialized nano-ceramic components provide extended lubrication protection at temperatures of up to 1,093 °C (2,000 °F). This makes the grease suitable even for extreme conditions where conventional lubricants may fail to provide adequate protection.

The grease is specifically designed for lubricating locking lugs, frame and slide rails, hinge pins, and camming mechanisms.
