The Decimator Cleaning System by BoreTech is a complete two-part system designed for effective and safe cleaning of firearm suppressors. It has been specifically developed to remove heavy fouling deposits that accumulate inside suppressors during shooting. It is suitable for both user-serviceable and sealed suppressors designed for firearms using rimfire or centerfire ammunition, as well as for cleaning muzzle brakes.

The system features two specialized cleaning solutions. Decimator Cleaner Part A removes stubborn carbon and lead fouling, while Decimator Cleaner Part B is designed to remove heavy copper fouling. Together, they provide thorough cleaning of the suppressor's internal components, including hard-to-reach areas. Each cleaning solution comes in a 473 ml (16 fl oz) container, for a total of 946 ml.

The kit includes a stainless steel suppressor stand designed for .17 to .50 caliber suppressors, providing secure support during cleaning while catching any overflowing cleaning solution. It also features a trigger spray handle with a flushing lance and splash shield. For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends using a pressure washer operating at 1,500–2,500 psi (approximately 103–172 bar), which is not included in the kit.

Decimator is safe for use on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and a wide range of commonly used metal alloys and surface coatings. This allows safe maintenance of various suppressor designs without the need for disassembly.

During shooting, carbon, lead, and copper fouling gradually accumulates inside suppressors, potentially containing corrosive residues. Excessive buildup can negatively affect shooting accuracy, sound and flash suppression performance, and, in extreme cases, cause damage to the suppressor. As the number of rounds fired increases, new fouling adheres to existing deposits, while exposure to high temperatures and pressures causes these layers to become progressively harder, denser, and more difficult to remove.

Based on extensive testing, the manufacturer recommends regular cleaning according to the number of rounds fired and the increase in suppressor weight caused by accumulated fouling. For suppressors designed for rimfire ammunition, cleaning is recommended every 500–1,000 rounds, while suppressors designed for centerfire ammunition should be cleaned every 1,000–2,000 rounds.
