Description
Universal Axe Hultafors Hatchet H 009 SV with Sheath
Compact yet surprisingly powerful axe from the Swedish brand Hultafors is an ideal choice for anyone looking for a reliable tool for outdoor use. The H 009 SV model combines traditional craftsmanship with practical dimensions, making it perfect both for carrying in a backpack and for work in the woods.
The axe head is hand-forged from high-quality carbon steel in the Swedish forge Hults Bruk, where axe-making has a long-standing tradition. Each piece reflects honest craftsmanship and attention to detail. The edge is hardened to provide an optimal balance between sharpness and durability during long-term use.
The American hickory handle is ergonomically shaped and treated with linseed oil, ensuring a firm grip even during demanding tasks. With a length of 50 cm and a head weight of 900 g, the axe offers an excellent balance between control and cutting performance.
The axe also comes with a leather sheath that protects the edge during transport and enhances safety when carried outdoors.
The H 009 SV is an excellent choice for outdoor activities, camping, firewood preparation, and light forestry work. Thanks to its versatility, it suits both beginners and experienced users who appreciate a combination of mobility and performance.
American Hickory Handle
Hickory is considered one of the best woods used for axe handles thanks to its high strength, flexibility, and excellent shock absorption. In practice, this means it effectively reduces vibrations, resists cracking, and provides a secure and comfortable grip even during prolonged use.
