Athos Men's Fleece Jacket, Pentagon, RAL7013, S

Athos 2.5 Men's Fleece Jacket by Pentagon

The Athos 2.5 builds on the proven design of the original Athos jacket by Pentagon, adapting it to the requirements of professional users. The key change is its fully monochromatic design without contrasting panels, making the jacket easier to integrate with professional uniforms and equipment. This makes it suitable for military and law enforcement personnel, security professionals, and other users who require a discreet and uniform appearance.

The jacket is made from 100% high-loft polyester fleece with a fabric weight of 320 g/m². The material provides a high level of thermal insulation while maintaining an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. Its high CLO insulation rating helps retain body heat efficiently, while the breathable construction enhances comfort during active movement.

The Athos 2.5 is designed for versatile use in different weather conditions. In cool weather, it can be worn as a standalone outer layer, while in colder conditions it can serve as an insulating mid-layer beneath a waterproof or other protective jacket. This makes it ideal for year-round layering systems.

Comfort during extended wear is enhanced by Flatlock seams that reduce bulk and friction. This is particularly practical when the jacket is worn with a backpack, plate carrier, or additional outer layer, where conventional raised seams could create uncomfortable pressure points.

A large softshell chest pocket provides easily accessible storage for essential small items while also increasing durability in this high-use area of the jacket.

An important feature of the design is its compatibility with the Pentagon MJC® system. A pair of MJC® zips allows the jacket to be integrated with compatible Pentagon outer layers, creating a modular clothing system that can be adapted to changing temperatures and weather conditions.

The combination of thermal comfort, low weight, breathability, and a professional monochromatic appearance makes the jacket suitable for military and law enforcement use, security professionals, and fieldwork. It is equally well suited to hiking, trekking, and everyday wear.
