The Petzl Aria 2R RGB is a compact, durable, and rechargeable headlamp with a maximum output of 625 lumens. It is designed for frequent and demanding use by stage technicians, maintenance professionals, and tradespeople, while its features also make it suitable for military use, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.

For close-range work, it provides a wide, uniform beam for comfortable illumination of the working area. The white light offers three modes – MAX BURN TIME for maximum burn time, STANDARD for an optimal balance between brightness and burn time, and MAX POWER for maximum output.

When powered by the included CORE rechargeable battery, MAX POWER provides 625 lumens, a beam distance of 115 m, and a burn time of 2 hours. STANDARD delivers 100 lumens with a beam distance of 60 m for 7 hours, followed by 2 hours of reserve lighting. MAX BURN TIME provides 7 lumens, a beam distance of 10 m, and a burn time of up to 100 hours.

In addition to white light, the headlamp features red, green, and blue RGB lighting, which helps preserve night vision and allows for greater discretion when working or moving in the dark. In continuous mode, the RGB light provides an output of 4 lumens, a beam distance of 5 m, and a burn time of 50 hours. A strobe mode is also available, providing visibility at a distance of up to 700 m for up to 300 hours.

The construction is designed to withstand demanding working conditions. The headlamp is IK07 impact resistant and withstands drops from heights of up to 2 metres. Its IP67 rating ensures protection against dust and allows immersion in water to a depth of 1 metre for up to 30 minutes.

All functions are controlled using a single button for quick and easy access to the different lighting modes. The angle of the light can be easily adjusted by tilting the headlamp up or down. A battery charge indicator displays the battery level whenever the headlamp is switched on or off, while the LOCK function prevents accidental activation during transport or storage.

The headlamp comes with a Petzl CORE rechargeable battery. Thanks to HYBRID CONCEPT technology, the Aria 2R RGB can also be powered by three standard AAA/LR03 alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. The headlamp automatically detects the power source and adjusts its performance accordingly.

When powered by three AAA/LR03 batteries, MAX POWER provides 450 lumens, a beam distance of 100 m, and a burn time of 2 hours. STANDARD delivers 100 lumens, a beam distance of 60 m, and a burn time of 10 hours, while MAX BURN TIME provides 7 lumens, a beam distance of 10 m, and a burn time of up to 100 hours. Reserve lighting is also available for 20 hours. RGB lighting performance remains the same – 4 lumens, a beam distance of 5 m, and a burn time of 50 hours in continuous mode, or strobe lighting visible at up to 700 m for 300 hours.

The adjustable symmetrical headband makes fitting easy and can be removed and washed. The headlamp can be worn on the head or around the neck. Its mounting plate is also compatible with optional HELMET ADAPT accessories for attaching the headlamp to various types of helmets and SLOT ADAPT for helmets equipped with a compatible slot.
