ADAPTER FOR HOLLOW POLYMER STOCKS FOR HARRIS BIPODS, HARRIS

The Harris No. 2 mounting adapter with a flat base offers an original design solution for fitting a mounting pin into hollow plastic or composite forends with an accessible interior. It is designed for firearms that do not have a suitable mounting point for a bipod as standard, or for cases where the thin wall of the stock prevents a standard screw from being securely fastened.

The key component of the adapter is a rectangular flange measuring 5/8‘ × 1 3/8’ (approx. 16 × 35 mm), which is inserted from the inside of the fore-end. The flange effectively distributes the forces exerted on the bipod across a larger area of the polymer, thereby eliminating the risk of the stock cracking or the pin being torn out during firing and handling. A 5/16" diameter shank passes through a pre-drilled hole in the stock and creates a flush base for the external pin with a standard 10-32 thread.

This is an original part developed directly by the American manufacturer Harris Engineering, which guarantees full compatibility with all Harris bipods and other shooting accessories using a standard mounting pin.
