Laser Ammo's SF30 PRO IR - Glock Pro Laser Training Pistol is a great alternative to the traditional laser traning pistols that use Surestrike laser cartridges. However, SF30 PRO IR offers several features that are not always standard with the regular training pistols such as a removable magazine, a self-resetting trigger, light guide sights, and various training modes.

The pistol is designed to roughly match in size and weight its real counterpart, the Glock 17 (510 g IR Laser vs. 625 g 9 mm Luger ). While the weight differs by about 100 g, the dimensions are exactly identical, making the IR laser pistol compatible with the vast majority of Glock pistol holsters.

If you are still not convinced, there are other undeniable advantages to this solution - namely the presence of the standard 9 mm Surestrike Cartridge. This cartridge can be easily removed by loosening the locking nut on the "muzzle". Once removed, the Surestrike Cartridge can be used in any other 9 mm weapon. (or on other calibers with an adapter)
