ABOUT GRAND POWERGrand Power is a Slovak firearms manufacturer based in Banská Bystrica. The company’s owner and founder, Jaroslav Kuracina, developed a passion for firearms—his greatest hobby—through his grandfather, who was a partisan during World War II. Kuracina drew his first firearm design as a teenager and presented his first real sketches as a young soldier in 1994. With the help of friends and investors, he succeeded in realizing his plans to found his own firearms manufacturer, and so production of the K100 model (previously the K1) began in 2002. While the first firearms were manufactured by external contractors based on Jaroslav Kuracina’s drawings, today 100% of the machining is carried out by state-of-the-art machining centers at the company’s own production facility in Banská Bystrica. |
