BLADE MATERIAL

HANDLE MATERIAL
Safety at work is essential. The machete should have an ergonomically shaped handle that fits well in the hand and does not slip, especially in difficult working conditions (wet, and rainy). The rubberized handle with grooves ensures that the tool does not slip out of your hand and you do not injure yourself while working. Some people also prefer light but very strong handles made of Kraton or zytel.
TOTAL LENGTH
The overall length of your new machete should be chosen according to the use you plan for your machete. If you want to get a machete for less demanding work, compact lightweight machetes with smaller blades are recommended. If, on the other hand, you will be using your machete for heavy work, we recommend a longer and heavier machete, which will be easier to work with.
WHAT DOES FULL-TANG MEAN?
The term full-tang means that the blade is extended all the way to the handle, giving the tool more rigidity and control. Machetes of this type are very resistant to breakage.
