Machete Camp 18 by Kershaw
The Kershaw Camp 18 is a good fixed blade, which can be used for all kinds of chores that need a little chopping! The carbon steel blade (not stainless!) is tough and runs through the entire handle (full-tang).
The light forward curved blade shape really helps you chop. The edge is slightly convex sharpened, which retains its sharpness for a long period of time. The rubber handle offers plenty of grip.

A perfect large machete, which will easily replace an ax. I have already used it for a wide range of activities from cutting out tree species, pruning smaller trees, but also for cutting wood for heating. Thanks to the weight and length, this machete will playfully cut even thicker branches. The handle does not slip and fits well in the hand.
- - robust and practically designed construction - non-slip solution of the handle - solid plastic case with the possibility of attachment to a belt, backpack, etc. - loop for securing cord on the handle
- - the steel of the blade is not stainless steel, so it is necessary to maintain it properly (in this category of tools probably quite common)

Perfektní velká mačeta, co bez problému nahradí i sekyrku. Využil jsem již na širokou škálu činností od vysekávání náletových dřevin, odvětvování menších stromků, ale i na porcování dřeva na topení. Díky hmotnosti a délce tahle mačeta hravě přesekne i silnější větve. Rukojeť neklouže a dobře sedí v ruce.
