Salomon Forces Quest 4D GTX®
The Salomon Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 EN boots are new and improved popular tactical boots from the leading French outdoor footwear manufacturer Salomon. After 3 years of intensive development and collaboration with members of thearmed forces from around the world, Salomon has brought a new and improved Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 EN model in 2019, replacing its predecessor which became very popular on the Czech market with members of thearmed forces.
The main change has been to the sole, which is much more durable thanks to a new manufacturing process. The newly developed Contagrip® MD is puncture resistant, does not slip on oil and protects against electrostatic discharge. The footwear is thus newly certified according to EN European standards as work footwear.
The Salomon Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 EN boots are made with a combination of Full Grain leather, abrasion resistant nylon, Anti-debris mesh and a rubberised toe for maximum durability. Designed for armed forces or security agencies, the FORCES series also features special closed-loop laces required for parachute or fast rope jumps. The midsole is foam with Energy Cell torsion stabilizer for maximum shock absorption without unnecessarily stressing the shoe.
Of course, the Salomon boots have very comfortable OrthoLite® orthotic insoles. The waterproofness of the shoe is ensured by the GORE-TEX® membrane, which ensures perfect vapour wicking and perfect impermeability of running water by means of a Teflon treatment.

- Non-marking, stiff sole with a very intricate cushion midsole and rough tread pattern.
- Upper made of nubuck leather and Cordura .
- Inner lined with breathable fabric.
- Between the layers sits the Gore-Tex membrane.
- Cushioned, porous insole.
- Traditional lacing with lace locks in the middle. The upper eyelets are made of metal.
- Weight for one shoe about 600-700 grams, depending on the size.

Rated option: Boty Salomon Forces Quest 4D GTX®, černé, 10
- Absolutely great shoes. Although I have them directly from Salomon, but they are only differently colored, I can only recommend them. It holds the ankle perfectly and the sole looks like it could withstand what Vibram can do. And it doesn't slip much.
- Although my mistake, I had a bad look at them and the ditch rubber on the toe is glued on one side about 1 cm elsewhere (compared to the sole) than on the other shoe. It does not affect the function and I noticed it myself until cleaning :-), but this should not pass through the output control.
- Naprosto super boty. Sice je mám přímo ze Salomonu, ale jsou jen jinak barevné, mohu jedině doporučit. Výborně drží kotník a i podrážka vypadá, že by mohla vydržet to co Vibram. A moc neklouže.
- Sice moje chyba, ale špatně jsem si je prohlédl a okopová guma na špičce je na jedné straně nalepená o cca 1 cm jinde (oproti podrážce) než na druhé botě. Na funkci to nemá vliv a sám jsem si toho všiml až při čištění :-), ale tohle by přes výstupní kontrolu nemělo projít.
