MOIRA ARCTIC SOCKS

High-quality, reliable, functional Arctic Socks by the Czech company Moira are made of a time-tested combination of functional materials - Merino, Moira and elastane - and are thus suitable for almost any outdoor activity, winter sports and any other leisure activity as well as pure relaxation without any form of physical exertion. The basis of the Arctic socks is Merino wool - a great advantage of wool is that it is a unique, natural material that generates heat when wet. Excess moisture is then wicked to the outside of the sock by Moira polypropylene fibres which then provides your foot with a feeling of "dry warmth".

Additionally, the Arctic socks feature a unique structure that ensures comfort and a great fit when worn. The reinforced structure of the toe area of the sock goes under the foot through the heel to the hem, protecting the Achilles tendon and ankles. A binding at the instep improves foot ventilation and enhances overall thermal comfort. Furthermore, an elastic band passes over the instep area of the sock to ensure that the sock is perfectly fixed to the foot. Last but not least, the sock is finished with a high, double hem that provides a very soft clamp.
