3 Day Assault Pack MOLLE, 50 L, Condor

Hello everyone, I would like to take the liberty of contributing a review of this backpack after many years (8 years) of use. Backpack purchased in 2016. I used it during my service in the army, as well as in civilian life. Used in the conditions of the combat unit 4.brn, and reconnaissance on the unnamed unit. Backpack tested and passed 2 foreign operations - Afghanistan, Mali. I consider the volume to be the biggest advantage of this backpack. You can load a lot of things into it, but it really cannot be considered a "3-day attack" backpack. I used it for accessories for the MINIMI machine gun and other equipment (optics, bag for magazine belt, spare barrel, cleaning), which made the space for additional material for "3 days" really shrink very quickly and therefore cannot be considered as 3 days ( at least not in the army). The braces (straps) and the back are comfortable, even after several hours of wearing I did not notice any pain. However, the positives end there. According to the price tag, it is about half of the higher quality backpacks and you can tell a lot - it is such a low-cost. The material is not very soft, the threads are constantly evaporating somewhere (mostly in the area of the zippers, where they are then closed). Another minus is the zipper cover itself - it also sometimes gets stuck in the zipper (I don't know, maybe it's due to the age of the material and use - 8 years). One of the biggest shortcomings of this backpack is the absolute absence of a waterproof layer - both from above, from below, and the backpack as a whole. During rain/drizzle/snowing/monsoon (especially direct precipitation - see the mentioned rain/monsoon is totally soaked after a few minutes) - I had to deal with the waterproof cover of the backpack. When the backpack is fully loaded / with a lot of weight, it is not possible to properly reach the front pockets (admin, etc.) and get things from there. Also, when fully loaded and running, it does not fit properly on the back. The waist belt is here only for decoration, I did not use it at all, because it does not work properly when fully loaded. Also, the straps can't bear a heavy load and loosen when you run, etc., it's poorly designed, the fastening of the straps is too small and it constantly loosens. Overall, I rate it with 3 stars, but only because of the long time it has been in service - even if it is charged, see service in the army and completed deployments, it still fulfills the function of a "backpack". Also, the volume mentioned several times - I always found what I needed there. He served well. I do not recommend it for soldiers, I would rather look for something better and invest more in quality. Probably enough for tourists, trampers, airsofters for steaks, beer, sleeping bag and fake earplugs. L.

I have had several backpacks of this capacity, but this one is the best yet. The number of pockets, massive, well-opening zippers and comfort for the back. It really takes everything you need. Much to Sgt.Murphy's satisfaction
