The American brand MSA Sordin was founded in 1914 and since then has become one of the world's largest manufacturers of protective work equipment. MSA manufactures - among others - hearing protectors for military, police or hunting use. Particularly world famous are the MSA electronic headphones with  "talk-thru" function, which are already equipped with gel pads in the basic configuration. MSA electronic hearing protectors use advanced electronics, so unlike some competing headphones, they do not turn off the entire circuit at the time of the shot, but only attenuate the shot and other sounds are heard normally.
