Military boots 790 Gore-Tex by Belleville
The Belleville 790 Gore-Tex high military boots were amongh the first boots to be accredited by the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force for the use in desert. Belleville 790 GORE-TEX boots are made entirely in the USA.
The Gore-Tex membrane creates a waterproof barrier that stops water from entering the boot and it also helps wick any produced moisture out of the boot. The upper layer of the boot is made out of a combination of 100% leather and ballistic nylon for an above standard resistance against abrasion. This means that the boots are designed to be used in the harshest conditions.
The VANGUARD outsole is designed to absorb shock and impact. This helps protect your feet, ankles and knees in a long run. The VIBRAM Sierra sole pattern with large lugs prevents slipping and ensures stability on slippery or loose surfaces.
According to the manufacturer's recommendations, these boots are approximately ½ size larger than traditional running shoes. If you normally wear a size 10, for example, these boots should fit a size of 9.5.
