The hand warmer is round so it can easily fit inside a glove, for example. The round shape is also handy when using gas in cold weather conditions because the warmer is the right size for the bottom of most gas bottles, thereby ensuring their operation. Batteries for electronic devices, such as cameras, also like these warmers in cold weather. When it is cold, this is also a very nice addition in your sleeping bag to keep your toes toasty.

The hand warmer is activated by snapping the piece of metal inside the liquid pillow with your fingers, making the liquid heat up and solidify due to the thermal reaction. The hand warmer heats up to approximately 45 degrees Celsius.

After use, the warmer is reactivated by simply boiling it in water for 6-8 minutes. You can reactivate the pad for practically an indefinite number of times. The pads with a 10 cm diameter come in packages of three. The product is non-toxic.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Activate the warmer by squeezing the thin round piece of metal inside the gel pad. When using the pad for the first time, hold the pad with both hands and place it between the index fingers and the thumbs. Bend the piece of metal until it clicks and the warmer is activated. After use, reactivate the warmer by boiling in water for 6-8 minutes, let cool and use again!

NOTE

Sometimes the hand warmer might have been activated during the shipping. In this case the liquid inside the hand warmer has transformed into the solid phase. The product that has activated during the shipping is not broken or non-functional, it just needs to be reactivated.

Note that although the hand warmer generates heat during use it is still possible for the liquid inside it to freeze in cold temperatures.

When not in use we recommend you to carry the hand warmer in your pockets close to your body. The heat from your body will prevent it from freezing and make sure it’s ready for use when you need it.
