MICROPUR TABLETS FOR PURIFICATION OF WATER FROM MICROORGANISMS

Micropur Forte MF 1T is a fast and effective water disinfection in the form of small tablets. It eliminates the risk of infections from unknown water sources such as springs, streams during outdoor trips or expeditions. But also in hotels and other accommodations in backward regions where drinking water does not flow or you have doubts about its quality. Its size and lightweight packaging make it suitable for boxes and backpacks for emergency situations such as natural or humanitarian disasters.

The product uses a unique combination of active chlorine and silver ions. Due to its high disinfecting effect, it cleans water of bacteria and viruses within 30 minutes while preserving the disinfected water for up to 6 months. In 2 hours, when used correctly, it can remove microorganisms including very resistant protozoa such as Giardia Intestinalis.

The product is intended for disinfection of visually clear water, in case of turbidity it is necessary to perform mechanical filtration beforehand. Cloudy water reduces the effects of disinfection.

The use of the product is very easy – just throw an adequate number of tablets (1 tablet per 1 litre of water) into a container or reservoir of water intended for consumption, mix thoroughly and leave for at least 30 minutes (viruses and bacteria) and preferably 120 minutes (protozoa). There are no health risks associated with the use of the product and the water thus prepared can be used for consumption, dishwashing or personal hygiene. Treated water may have a slight chlorine taste and odor, use Katadyn Antichlorine MA 100F to remove.

This product removes both pathogens and algae and odor from the water.  

The product complies with all the requirements set out in Decree No. 409/2005 Coll., on hygiene requirements for products in direct contact with water, and the requirements of Act No. 258/2000 Coll., on the protection of public health. On 1 June 2009, the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic issued a permit to place Micropur Forte MF 1T on the Czech market.
