In order for the shooter to achieve faster and more dynamic repetitions of individual shots, the gun has been modernized with all major parts such as the bolt, frame and barrel extension. The shape of the frame helps for a more comfortable, higher grip towards the barrel axis. In addition, the new checkering also aids in a perfect grip. Hundreds of sharp lugs on the front of the grip ensure absolutely reliable contact with the gun at all times. The weapon does not slip in the hand during firing or during abrupt changes in lateral direction.
For the gun, the manufacturers have slightly increased the weight in the front of the frame along with the slide to compensate and mitigate recoil. The trigger mechanism of the CZ Shadow 2 has a smoother action and lower resistance. The trigger reset has also been shortened. Reloading is now faster and more confident, even when the shooter is moving. This is because the magazine catch is now more accessible and adjustable in three positions. Improved shooting accuracy has been achieved primarily due to the longer barrel, longer sights and newly height-adjustable sights.
The Arcor finish, inspired by service models, guarantees high resistance to corrosion, weathering and mechanical damage. Precision manufacturing on robotic machining centres without manual labour contributes significantly to the exclusive quality and excellent precision.
