The Gorge Folding Shovel features a fast and smooth push-button collapsible handle and a glass-filled nylon shaft with rubberized overgrip.
The spade folds back, revealing a textured head to be used as a hammer for pounding in tent stakes.
The Gorge is lightweight and packable for back-country camping and hiking.

I bought the shovel for the car as an emergency "tool" for example in case of getting stuck in snow or mud. I've had it since Christmas, and although I'm already in the mountains, I haven't had to use it yet, luckily. It looks solid, durable, so I hope it will be. It's definitely suitable for hiking. Thanks to its really small dimensions (which surprised me at first glance) you throw it in your backpack and go.I think I made a good purchase.

Lopatku jsem pořídil do auta jako nouzové "nářadí" třeba v případě zapadnutí ve sněhu či v blátě. Mám ji od Vánoc a i když jsem už na horách tak jsem ji zatím nemusel "naštěstí! použít. Vypadá pevně, odolně tak snad bude. Určitě se hodí i na túry. Díky opravdu malým rozměrům (až mě to na první pohled fakt dost překvapilo) ji hodíte do batohu a jdete. Myslím, že jsem udělal s nákupem dobře.
