are you looking for a jacket that warms up and do not blow through? Well, then you have just found it, because the MA-1 flight jacket is not only windproof and insulated, but also partially waterproof.
It is a classic bomber that replaced the leather jackets originally used by the US Air Force. Leather jackets absorbed moisture at great heights and then made cold rather than warm feelings. The new materials that were used to make the MA1 jacket eliminated this problem. Therefore, MA-1 jackets are still used in the Air Force.
The advantage is that it is double-sided and bright orange on the inside, so that it can be used as a reflective vest or for signalling if necessary.
