The set looks different than in the picture. Silicon carbide, from which they are fine and extra fine whetstone is gray to white and very soft. When sanding dry they have a much stronger abrasion than I'm used to from flat and serrated grinders of the same roughness, they clog quickly and are difficult to clean (perhaps with an underwater brush). There is an even greater loss of whetstone after soaking with water. The oil cannot be used at all, it soaks in like gypsum and also carbide is cut. With these two grinders (fine and ultra fine), polishing, sharpening and finishing are hard to talk about. The loss is that during one grinding, the "curved" shape loses and the blade becomes dull again. Waste of money. However, both coarser grinders are great, they shape the blade, but you will not grind it with finer ones.
