Army, tactical knives Walther

The German armory Walther, more precisely Carl Walther, was founded by Carl Walther in 1886. For more than 140 years, it has been producing firearms for business and sports use. The original factory in Zella-Mehlis (near Suhl in Thüringen) was abandoned after the division of Germany, and the armory has been based in Ulm (Baden-Württemberg) since the 1950s.

Walther's fame began with the launch of the PP model (Polizei Pistole) and especially the PPK model (Polizei Pistole Kriminalmodell), that became an iconic weapon of Agent 007. Another renowned model is the Walther P38, infamous in the hands of members of the Wehrmacht, but serving also in a light version of the P-1 in the Bundeswehr until the 90s. In 1993, Walther became part of the Umarex Group. Walther also manufactures modern service pistols, especially from the PPQ and PPS series, while Umarex offers their airsoft and gas variants. Walther has also been focusing on sport shooting for a long time and therefore offers specially modified sport variants of the originally service PPQ model and also offers a range of top sports air and small arms weapons for the Olympic disciplines.

All of the offered models of long weapons in stock can be viewed by prior arrangement in our stores in Prague, Brno, Vyškov or Tábor. If you have any professional questions, do not hesitate to contact us at the e-mail address zbrane@armed.cz.

WHAT KNIVES DO WE OFFER?

  • Compact folding knives are usually equipped with a pocket clip or belt case and are suitable for less demanding activities. Folding knives are usually equipped with a fuse, most often a lockback, framelock or a patented fuse from the American manufacturer Cold Steel - Tri-Ad Lock. Characteristic properties for folding knives are storage and low weight.
  • Knives with a fixed blade are designed for more demanding work and are usually larger than folding ones. Depending on their purpose, they may have various accessories, such as a GERBER BEAR GRYLLS ULTIMATE knife, that includes an emergency whistle attached to the handle and a flint and steel with a diamond whetstone built into the case. In our offer you can also find knives with a fulltang construction, that means that the knife is made of one piece of material and it just do not break. The knives come with a case made of solid material so that you can safely carry and store the knife.
  • Carambites are specific in their compactness, safety and wide range of use. They are suitable for fishermen, tourists, climbers, rescuers and do-it-yourselfers. They have a short curved blade and a ring for the finger, that ensures a firm grip on the knife, thanks to that the attacker do not knock it out of your hand or turn it against you during self-defense.
  • Training knives made of rubber and other synthetic materials are used for training purposes. We offer exact copies of real knives suitable for practicing martial arts and self-defense techniques.

Our range includes folding knives, knives with a fixed blade and carambites from world manufacturers - American Gerber or Cold Steel, Swiss Victorinox or the Czech manufacturer Mikov.
