The Nitecore UT32 is the first dual headlamp with two reflectors combining both cool and warm shades of white light. It uses 1 x CREE XP-L2 V6 LED (1600cd and 5700K) as the light source for the cool shade of white light, with a range of 80m and an LED lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. A 1 x 18650, 2 x CR123A or 2 x RCR123 batteries can be used for power. For the flashlight we recommend batteries with micro USB charging such as Nitecore NL1835R, NL1834R and NL1826R (not included).

The headlamp electronics allow the user to choose between four basic light output levels and two extra modes-SOS and flash beacon. The body of the headlamp is made of aerospace aluminum alloy, which ensures high durability, optimal cooling and also waterproofness with IP-68 degree of protection. This means that the headlamp is waterproof up to a depth of 2 metres underwater and drop-proof from a height of up to 1 metre. The multi-functionality of the headlamp is enhanced by the ability to remove the headlamp from the head strap and use it as a small pocket torch or, in combination with the BM02 handlebar mount, as a bike light.

The primary white light has an intensity of 1,100 lumens, the secondary LED with a warm shade of white is suitable for bad weather such as fog, snow and rain. Thanks to PDOT (Precision Digital Optics Technology), the OP (notched reflector for cold light shade) and SMO (smooth reflector for warm light shade) reflectors have beautiful transmittance.

The Nitecore UT32 stays on the forehead thanks to the elastic strap, which is equipped with a silicone band for a better and more stable fit of the flashlight on the forehead. Furthermore, the strap is equipped with reflective elements. The headlamp has a wide light cone of 100° for perfect peripheral illumination of the area and can be rotated in the holder up to 180°.  Highly efficient constant current circuit, electronic reverse polarity protection, advanced temperature control, battery charge indication by flashing the reflector when the base cap is tightened.
