EP5 EARPLUGS FROM SUREFIRE
SureFire EP5 earplugs are a highly effective passive hearing protection device designed for everyday use during shooting, training, or in noisy work environments. This model offers effective protection against dangerous noise levels while maintaining maximum comfort during wear. With a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 24 dB in closed-cap mode, the EP5 is the ideal choice for users who require high performance but want to maintain the simplicity of a passive system without the need for electronics.
The earplugs feature two soft flanges that provide a secure and comfortable seal in the ear. The material used for production is a flexible, hypoallergenic polymer that adapts well to the shape of the ear and minimizes the risk of irritation even during prolonged wear. The body of the earplugs is ergonomically shaped to follow the inner arch of the ear and stay firmly in place even during intense movement.
The EP5 also features a Hocks technology filter that acts as an intelligent noise limiter. This passive filter uses the physical principle of compression acceleration to convert excessive sound energy into heat energy, effectively dampening both impulsive and continuous noise. At the same time, it allows you to hear normal ambient sounds or communication when the plug is open.
The earplugs are available in two colors – flesh tone for discreet wear and black for tactical or professional environments. The sizes offered, S (small) and L (large), allow the earplugs to be adapted to the shape and size of the ear canal. They are sold as a set of right and left earplugs.
