The EP3 are comfortable protective earplugs with up to 24 dB attenuation that fit perfectly under a helmet. The Hocks filter attenuates harmful noise but allows normal sounds and conversation to be heard. The soft, hypoallergenic material makes them ideal for long-term wear.
Description
The EP3 protective earplugs provide effective noise reduction of up to 24 dB (with the filter cap inserted), thanks to two soft flanges that reliably seal the ear canal. Their low-profile design doesn’t interfere with helmets or headgear and ensures a comfortable and secure fit, even during extended wear.
They are made from a hypoallergenic, flexible material that naturally conforms to the shape of the ear. The gently curved flanges ergonomically adapt to the ear canal, delivering high comfort without pressure.
The integrated Hocks acoustic filter uses the principles of physics—specifically, the conversion of sound energy into heat through a process called compression acceleration. This reduces harmful noise levels without completely blocking ambient sounds. The result is a natural listening experience with minimal background noise, allowing for clear communication while protecting hearing from sudden or prolonged loud environments.
