Defender Mk2 Pilgrim Shirt®, Helikon

Being alone in the woods doesn’t mean that you have to give up fully functional clothes, just like Helikon-Tex Defender Mk2 Pilgrim Shirt®. It’s designed to endure hard environmental conditions while you focus on work or relax in nature. Pleasant to the touch fabric, similar to cotton flannel is extremely comfortable.

Description
Defender Mk2 PILGRIM Shirt® by helikon
Made with thicker but still breathable fabric with the addition of DuPont™ Sorona® to avoid odor. Thanks to UPF50, it gives you a proper UV protection.
Equipped with durable buttons. On the chest there are two flapped pockets closed with hook&loop tapes. Under them, there are additional flat pockets closed with YKK® zippers, so they won’t disturb you while you’re lighting the fire.
The combination of durable fabric and plaid pattern gives you the certainty that it will serve you for really long time. The Pilgrim shirt is surely the toughest of all Helikon-Tex® new shirts.

I came across a shirt from Helikon (I also have an MBDU flannel) while looking for a light and breathable top layer for backpacking in warm weather - when it's cold on a T-shirt, but Budna would be too much. I can't praise them yet. This cut (defender pilgrim) is longer, straight (not fitted) compared to MBDU, and the material is a hair heavier (but really only slightly). I would welcome a more fitted cut here as well - my shoulders are just right (with a small reserve) and the waist is unnecessarily looser, but holt each figure is different. I have 180 cm / 85 kg and size M fits OK with plenty of space to move, the length of the sleeves and body is absolutely luxurious (maybe too much unnecessarily) when I stand, so my shirt reaches to the bottom of the lid (or somewhere on the bimbase).

Na košile od Helikonu (mám i flanelku MBDU) jsem narazil při hledání lehké a prodyšné svrchní vrstvy na backpacking v teplém počasí – když je zima na tričko, ale budna už by byla moc. Zatím si je nemůžu vynachválit. Tenhle střih (defender pilgrim) je ve srovnání s MBDU delší, rovný (není vypasovaný), a materiál má o chlup vyšší gramáž (ale fakt jen malinko). Vypasovanější střih bych uvítal i zde – ramena jsou mi tak akorát (s drobnou rezervou) a v pase je zbytečně volnější, ale holt každá postava je jiná. Mám 180 cm / 85 kg a velikost M sedí OK s dostatkem místa na pohyb, délka rukávů a těla je naprosto luxusní (možná až zbytečně moc), když stojím, tak mi košile sahá až na spodek poklopce (čili nekam cca na bimbase).
