Wait, why would a jacket be named after a river? It was the Bighorn River, where the 5.11 brand shooting competition took place. In honor of the event, the model got its name. And what is the deal? It is an ordinary-looking garment, but the 5.11 brand has inserted some very useful elements into it.

The outside of the jacket is made of waterproof microfiber. This reliably repels all water, whether you're at the Bighorn River or not. The inside is made of fleece, very comfortable to the touch. Long zippers on each side provide easy draw of a weapon. There are handy patented 5.11® Ready Pocket™ hidden pockets on the chest and sleeve for stashing a wallet, flashlight or backup gun. Other pockets, both inside and outside, are big enough. A Velcro closure on the lower sleeve edges and an elastic waistband protect you against harsh weather.

The whole jacket looks ordinary at first glance, making it easy to wear in a public without fear of an overly striking tactical look. Thanks to the anti-pilling treatment, no lumps form on the jacket.
